Start in LA / A Local Conversation on Starting New Churches
Start in LA is a local conversation about starting churches in Los Angeles hosted by Cyclical LA and Fuller Theological Seminary. We host gatherings throughout the year where diverse church starters can come together for friendship and mutual learning around the unique work of starting churches in Los Angeles.
Start in LA Conference
October 11-12, 2019
Fuller Theological Seminary Campus
Friday will bring together Faculty from Fuller Seminary, theology students and church starters to discuss the theological issues surrounding starting new churches and the direction for future research around these issues.
Saturday will bring together diverse church starters and discerners in Los Angeles for a day of conversation and collaboration. This year there will be a focus on leadership, church planting teams, and discerning a call to church planting. Speakers will include Fuller faculty, local church planting network leaders, and church planters.
We hope that gleaning insights from multiple LA leaders about the unique dynamics of starting churches in LA will move us all forward in mutual learning, gathering new leaders to our networks and city, and further equipping the leaders in our churches and networks for the task of starting new churches.
