Start in LA Stories are short events that happen several times throughout the year where we hear stories from people involved in the work of starting churches in Los Angeles. Join us for lunch, conversation, and discussion groups. We’ll meet in Payton Hall, room 101 on the Fuller Theological Seminary Campus.

Start in LA Conference
Feb 1-2, 2019

Fuller Theological Seminary Campus
Pasadena, CA

Friday will bring together Faculty from Fuller Seminary, theology students and church starters to discuss the theological issues surrounding starting new churches and the direction for future research around these issues. Friday's events will take place at Rose City Church in Pasadena.

Saturday will bring together diverse church starters and discerners in Los Angeles for a day of conversation and collaboration. This year there will be a focus on leadership, church planting teams, and discerning a call to church planting. Speakers will include Fuller faculty, local church planting network leaders, and church planters.

Sunday will be an opportunity to visit new church starts in the LA area for worship and further conversation.

We hope that gleaning insights from multiple LA leaders about the unique dynamics of starting churches in LA will move us all forward in mutual learning, gathering new leaders to our networks and city, and further equipping the leaders in our churches and networks for the task of starting new churches.
